Modern Slavery Statement

Last updated: March 30, 2026

1. Introduction

TN Recruits is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business and in our supply chains. This statement sets out the steps we have taken and continue to take to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place within our organisation or in any of our supply chains.

2. Our Business

TN Recruits is a recruitment agency based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, providing permanent and temporary staffing solutions across multiple sectors. We supply candidates to businesses throughout Kent and the surrounding areas.

3. Our Policies

We have policies in place that contribute to ensuring modern slavery does not occur in our business or supply chains. These include:

  • Recruitment Policy — We verify the identity and right to work of all candidates. We ensure that all workers are engaged voluntarily and are free to leave at any time.
  • Whistleblowing Policy — We encourage all employees and workers to report concerns about any aspect of our business, including any suspicion of modern slavery.
  • Equal Opportunities Policy — We are committed to treating all workers fairly and with respect.

4. Due Diligence

As part of our commitment to combating modern slavery, we carry out due diligence on all new candidates and suppliers. This includes:

  • Verifying the identity of all candidates through original documentation
  • Confirming right to work status in the UK
  • Conducting face-to-face or video interviews where possible
  • Ensuring all workers are paid at least the National Living Wage or National Minimum Wage
  • Paying workers directly into their own bank accounts

5. Risk Assessment

We regularly assess the risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chains. As a recruitment business, we recognise that we operate in a sector where there is a potential risk of labour exploitation. We are vigilant in identifying and mitigating these risks.

6. Training

All TN Recruits staff receive training on identifying the signs of modern slavery and understanding the reporting procedures. This training is reviewed and updated regularly.

7. Reporting Concerns

If you suspect that modern slavery or human trafficking is taking place in any part of our business or supply chain, please contact us immediately at [email protected] or call 01892 571105.

You can also report concerns to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.
