Residential Conveyancing Lawyer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Conveyancing Lawyer to join a highly regarded legal practice in Haywards Heath. This is a fantastic chance for a motivated Residential Conveyancing Lawyer to work with high-net-worth clients, handle high-quality transactions, and become part of a collaborative, supportive team where progression is based on ability and performance – not just PQE.
 
About the role
You will manage your own full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion and post-completion matters.
 
Duties will include:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages and transfers of equity
• New build and shared ownership matters where applicable
• Title checks and drafting contracts
• Raising and responding to enquiries
• Building strong relationships with agents and clients
• Attending monthly fee earner meetings
• Supporting colleagues with file cover when required

You will be joining a busy and successful property department with a strong reputation for exceptional client service and quality work.
 
What we are looking for
 
The successful Residential Conveyancing Lawyer will be:

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, CILEX or CLC professional with experience ranging from NQ to 10 years PQE, although more senior candidates will also be considered.
• Experienced in handling a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
• Commercially aware with a proactive mindset
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicating with clients, agents and colleagues
• A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively
